About

Two Midwestern dudes walked into a bar.

There’s no punchline. That’s just how we became friends.

The bar was located across the street from the travel company where we worked, and that long lunch tumbled into one adventure after another. It wasn’t long until we realized that we had no choice but to team up and tell some stories. Here’s what was on the drink menu on that fateful day...

Ryan on the Rocks

This drink was invented in Paraguay, refined in Ohio, and perfected in Washington State. It makes for a great beverage at a backyard grill out, around a campfire on Washington’s coast, or anywhere in the mountains with friends.

Dash of Paraguay

One part Ohio

One part Washington State

Equal parts husky and labrador

One part travel industry

Heavy on the drums

Directions: Edit together Paraguay, Ohio, and Washington State in one sequence. Overlay two rascally dogs above Washington State. Add heavy drums as the soundtrack. Export. Garnish with lots of tattoos. It pairs perfectly with a serving of Fran.

The Jesse Coconut

This drink has Midwestern roots, but it’s been enjoyed across six continents. Best made in large batches to share with friends, try throwing it in a Hydro Flask for a camping trip in the Cascades, or serving it out of a punchbowl on a beach in Borneo.

Equal parts Ohio and West Coast.

A dash of East Coast

A dash of Southeast Asia

One part travel industry

One part advertising

A sprinkle of journalism

A healthy dose of globetrotting.

Directions: Edit together Ohio, West Coast, East Coast, Southeast Asia, and West Coast (again) into one long sequence. Overlay with advertising, journalism, and travel industry, and then squeeze a healthy dose of globetrotting over the entire sequence. Export. Garnish with some bike grease. And enjoy!

The Pre-Party:  We like to get involved early! Understanding the brand, product, and messaging will help us create more meaningful and engaging content. We can also help with things like the guest list and finding a good venue. (that is, talent and location scouting)

The Main Event: Shoot days are a blast, and quite often involve an adventure. But we’ll also light up a set or a studio space. Whatever you’re looking for, it’ll be a good party.

The After Party: Sifting through hours of interviews to craft a narrative, creating the perfect mood through color grading and sound design – this is when the magic happens!

Party Favors: What are people going to walk away with? A short doc? Some fun social content? A pilot episode, or a whole series! A marketing video, or an entire campaign! Feel free to mix and match.

Morning-after high-fives: This is when everyone talks about how awesome the party was and starts planning the next one...
