ICFF part II.

An ICFF wrap up [part II] of a refresher kind...some existing designer faves with some new+good to share...

It seems the a common thread this year is simplicity in artful form. No overwhelming abundance or excessiveness in implementation. Quite refreshing.

Molo.

Mio.

The Mio booth. Replete with eco goodness. Their Naked [shelving] Line includes new, customizable panels.

Also new is the Loop by the Yard, a spun bonded polyethylene [ie Tyvek] paperslashfabric that includes a postage paid envelope to return once you are through with it's use. Mio's ideas here for use ::

Josh Jakus, whose apt use of felt I've long admired, just came out with the new line FUZ.I love the placemats and napkins hugs. paperdolllike positive/negative space play; boy/girl shape in the center of that mat creates the napkin "hug." Available in rubber or wool felt. Everything flat packed to minimize waste.

Anne Kyyro Quinn.

On a larger felt scale, anne kyyro quinn was there with her wondrous architectural textile applications. A new take on her first pattern, laine.

I really love bloom. Knowing that colors and scales are customizable, my mind starts to wander into all the potential...

I love the screen printed color on the inside of hoop.

Ferm Living.
Danish company Ferm Living [translating to "clever living"] has new [clever] wall paper patterns and cute kids items to boot .

Fashion wallpaper. who doesn't love silhouettes?

Animal Farm wall stickers and RushHour bedding

Areaware had an eclectic collection of their equally eclectic wares.

like the "seconds" series of dishware.

I didn't see this at the show, but I love love the still life bowl.

k studio.

Artist Shelly Klein of k studio used inspiration from her own paintings to create a line of embroidered pillows, bags and wall art.

cute/fun

Hero Design Lab

last but not least...cool + simple rain catcher from Toronto based Hero Design Lab & their 365 series.

I opine that to get the loan from banks you should present a great reason. Nevertheless, one time I've received a secured loan, just because I was willing to buy a house.
